The Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanical Garden, commonly known as the Pamplemousses Botanical Garden, is the oldest botanical garden in the Southern Hemisphere. Famous for its long pond of giant water lilies the garden covers an area of around 37 hectares. The garden, for a long time, was ranked third among all the gardens that could be admired over the surface of the globe.

Le Morne Brabant is a peninsula at the extreme southwestern tip of the island of Mauritius on the windward side of the island. The mountain, covered with vegetation, is highlighted by an eponymous basaltic monolith with a summit 556 metres above sea level.

catamarans are positioned on the East of Mauritius offering cruises to Ile aux Cerfs from the small village of Trou d’Eau Douce. Sail down the beautiful lagoon along the East coast, visit the waterfall of Grand River South East and enjoy a stopover to do snorkelling. After a lunch on board, proceed to Ile aux Cerfs where you will spend a relaxing afternoon swimming before joining the catamaran to return.
CRUISE ITINERARY AND SCHEDULE
- Cruise to the East, departing from the debarcadère of Trou d’EauDouce at 09:15.
- Sail across the South-East lagoon of the island
- Visit the Grand River South East Waterfall
- Stop for snorkeling with crew assistance
- Barbecue lunch on board and refreshments
- After lunch, sail across to l’Ile aux Cerfs
- Disembark and enjoy your free time at leisure on the island
- Depart from the island around 15:00
- Return to the jetty at 16:00

Dolphin swimming can be done all year round between 7h00 till 08h30. It is, for the nature lovers the most exciting experience on the island. Both the spinner and bottlenose dolphins can be observed. The Sperm & Humpback whales migrate along the west coast of the island and can occasionally be observed.
